Mitzi started as the receptionist for Bomar after attending Santa Barbara Business College. She has performed every function in the company over the years and knows the security industry well. She is now president and part owner of the corporation and feels that it is one of the most interesting and exciting jobs she has ever had. As the president she sees many new and wonderful things in the future for the company.
Mitzi lives in Santa Maria with her husband Joe, and has one daughter and two grandchildren. She enjoys camping, traveling and spending time with her family.
Anthony has been a member of the Bomar family since 2000 when he was hired to be a patrol driver in Santa Barbara, CA. Anthony progressed rapidly in the company becoming patrol supervisor, Santa Barbara Operation’s Manager to his current position as the company’s Operations Manager. His duties include client procurement, hiring and retaining officers and all other aspects of management.
Anthony lives in Lompoc, CA with his wife, Myrna. They spend most of their time fishing, camping, enjoying music and spending quality time with family.
Mike came to Bomar three years ago with over 20 years’ experience in Operational Management. His responsibilities are to oversee the company’s activities within San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas including client procurement, hiring and retaining officers and all other aspects of management. Mike holds Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and was an Interrogator/Translator in the United States Marine Corps.
Mike is an active member in SASS and the Charro Valley Regulators cowboy action shooting clubs.
Skip has been with Bomar since 1998 and is in charge of all personnel issues including processing new hires, maintaining records, ordering and maintaining the uniform stock and processing and digitizing security and patrol reports. He also occasionally stands a site, if needed.
Skip is an Army Vietnam Vet and has attended Allan Hancock College and Indiana Tech. He enjoys scuba diving, racing and cowboy action shooting.
Jodine started working for Bomar in 1995 as a security guard after 10 years as a stay-at-home mom. In 1997 Jodine was promoted to Scheduler and she now does the scheduling for all three of our offices, matching guards to client needs. Scheduling can be a very stressful position but Jodine makes it look easy. She strives to do the very best job possible for the client and loves being part of the Bomar family.
Jodine lives in Santa Maria along with her two daughters and loves reading and spending time with her girls.
Lisa began working for Bomar Security and Investigation in June 2001 as the Santa Barbara Scheduler. She held that position until transferring to the Santa Maria office in 2006 to take on Billing and Payroll duties and also became the Benefits Administrator. Lisa has excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Quick Books and Valiant Workforce Management. She is also the “Go-to-Geek” should you need help operating your smartphone.
When Lisa is not busy working in the office, she is busy raising her two kids.
Susan has been a member of the Bomar family since 1999 when she was hired, part time, to be the Assistant to the President. That part time employment quickly became full time and she began to accept more responsibility. Today, she wears several hats including WBA (World’s Best Assistant), Lead Background Investigator, Office Manager, A/P and A/R Clerk and, most importantly, the Grammar Sheriff.
Susan lives in Santa Maria with her husband, Jimmy. They spend most of their time remodeling their home and spending time with family and friends.
